    But I like it less because it's Jared ****ing Leto in the lead role...

    I know TRON barely featured in Legacy but he [and Boxleitner's 'irl' character from the original] did feature.

    I share your 'eew... Jared Leto' and am slightly miffed that this film essentially goes 'Legacy? oh none of that happened'.

    But still somewhat looking forward to this.

    I didn't know any of that. I thought the "x film will be sh!te because Jared Leto is in it" memes were purely down to mediocre acting talent.

    I mean… there are all sorts of cliches around big bands, backstage access, groupies, etc, and as is so often the case, there’s no smoke without fire: cliches become cliches for a reason.

    But. It absolutely 100% crosses a line when it’s not consensual or it’s underage teenagers.
