Megalag just dropped his second Honey video yesterday.

 

I want to watch that, but… man… 50 minutes…? Come ooooonnnnn…..

 

It, unsurprisingly, uncovers some very scummy behaviour and he dangled a further vid coming soon that could likely drop Paypal in some pretty hot water.

 

I just hope there’s good evidence for that latter point. I seem to recall that the class-action lawsuit against Honey was dropped not too long ago, though I don’t know the details. But if there’s compelling evidence to support any accusations of wrongdoing then… nail ‘em to the wall.

 

Much of the evidence was found when Honey accidentally left a little too much info in their IOS app code.

 

Yeah I watched a little bit earlier on…

Solid dev practices there, leaving the freakin’ source code in the deployed application… Less “accidentally baring your arse to the world because your trousers fell down”, more “intentionally pulling your trousers down, planting a great big sign saying ‘SPANK ME’ in 15-foot high letters, and handing out paddles to passers-by”.

 

Looks like a good remake of Ghost in the Shell lands next year, from the studio behind Dan Da Dan
