Hahahahahahaha....Patrick Stewart as Agent 47...Wow, now THAT I'd pay to see.

Vin Diesel is going to executive produce?! This is a man who clearly cannot even read a script (after all, he did star in The Pacifier, as mentioned), and he's the producer? Bad, very, very bad...

Hmm... wonder who'll do Jack Carver. I heard a while back they'd make Far Cry a movie too.

And what the hell ever happened with FFVII: Advent Children??

Vin Diesel; he's too young to play him.. whilst I think Patrick Stewart would be cool, he's a little TOO old and stuffy for the role.

I saw Agent 47 as someone in his 40's with a bit of weathering and experience.

Tbh i dont know anyone gritty and dark enough to fill the role.

I wonder if its going to be using the same script that I read 3 or so years ago... guess we'll have to wait to see, I'll check if I can find it in the mean time.

Personally I think Diesel might actually fit well. Basicly the same roll he played in the pitch black and cronicles or riddick movies, cold killer.

Though the guy off the "Transporter" came to mind as well...

In terms of looks yes, that'd work. But you just know he'd put on a really bad American accent...(or just speak cockney!)

He was rubbish in The Transporter (which was rubbish).
Hopefully he'll stick to the east-end "gangster" flicks.

Jean Reno as Agent 47 tbh (the awesome chap who played the awesome Leon - since the game surely has some inspiration there - and the french chap in Ronin).

Could be good, even great, but if he were to play the role it might seem like an attempt to make Leon 2 (and thus would suck)

I thought he was pretty good in that film tbh.

Agree with you there tho, even if it was a good film people would still say it was trying to follow Leon (which i'm now gonna have to watch, A 2nd Leon film would rock tho, suppose it would follow the girl now tho).

i think the guy youd like to play him most probably depends on how you play the game

but i think he'd be good as it

Diesel vs Statham... for Hitman, it would have to be Diesel, given his proven poker-faced killer ability.

I *love* Statham, but more for his classic Lock Stock / Snatch roles. It's OT, but filming is complete on The Transporter 2!! http://imdb.com/title/tt0388482/
