    Hey

I am going to vinyl dye the front plastic part of my case black. The plastic panel has 2 blue strips down the sides of it, does this mean I will have to dye them white first and then do it black? Because I've heard that doing it black on dark colours gives it a funny tint sort of?

    What you guys think?

You could always see what it looks like without painting it white, it may give a cool look that you'll like ;) .

Hehe nah I'd rather have it black. The blue bits are just painted on, can I just sand it off or will this ruin the plastic and make it look funny when I dye it?

if the plastic is smooth, it might make it look like a different texture. You could always try some of that chemical paint remover stuff.

Be careful with strippers and solvents many of them will just dislove the plastic in a computer case.

black over blue shouldnt be a problem ...

you should only need to prime with white dye when going to a lighter color, i.e. from blue to yellow or red ...
