Hey all, question about dying. My case's acrylic bezel is clear, and the dye I own is plasti-kote vinyl coloring, which I've heard is not true dye. I've already used it on my drive bay covers and it worked great, I just wanted to check if anyone knew/can confirm that it will work on the the clear acrylic. Thanks!

Confirmed. It will work. I like to sand the surface first with a very fine grit, I think it makes the color look slightly deeper. Even if you don't, adhesion to acrylic was excellent in my tests (it didn't scratch off).

And of course, paint the back side. It will look really really great.

    And welcome to the boards.

np... not difficult really, just do light layers and keep it in a safe place while drying so it doesn't get contaminated with dust/bugs... will come out great.
