Modding Vinyl Dye VS Spray Paint

    is vinyl better because i never used it but i have spray paint but i used different kinds but it like "chips" off so can u help me? please be honest or u "calm" down on "me" because i dont know
    so is there a "permanent" or the best one that people here often use?

    Vinyl dye is a dye, more than a paint. On plastic or vinyl surfaces, its the best for a permanent color. Its not for metal.

    If your paint is flaking and its a metal surface, are preparing the surface correctly? washing, sanding, primering?

    You want a really good finish, airbrushing is the only way to go.

    you got to make sure your surface is clean dry and totally free from oil...silicon etc.... use a good primer otherwise the paint has nothing to attach itself to...key! thats why its chipping off easily!

    Some of the dyes are great for keyboards and drive fronts but you got to make sure you put it on even and its also a good idea to give more than one coat to build the colour up :cooldude:

    o i get it so u use vinyl for plastic and airbrush for metal?
