    Thought this may be of interest to some folks...

    Linn released Songcaster recently, which intercepts audio prior to it reaching the PC/Mac soundcard; the audio can then be intercepted by DS players on the network. I don't know if it works with all uPnP media renderers as it was primarily released for our Linn DS range.

    We also reverse engineered some proprietary protocols to allow our DS players to interoperate with Apple's Airplay. Pretty cool having The Muppets playing on my iPad with "Mahna Mahna" coming out of my hifi system :)

    Similar projects are underway for other popular phones, tablets and whatnot.
