Depends how far north you go, here (edinburgh) you won't get much more that a small flat in a ropey area for that!

I have played PE for two years now (tho there are players that have been ingame since its inception, almost 4 years ago) and have deposited a small sum of about 200 USD over those years.

The longer you play and more skilled you become, the higher your chances of getting back money from the system ingame, so much so that you need never deposit again.

My last deposit was well over a year ago and I play almost every day. I'm not as hardcore as some others and don't look at trying to make a profit, just enough to do what I want to do when I want to.

Once you've found your niche in PE you can live comfortably and have lots of fun doing so.

i downloaded this game yesterday, just to try it out, and if i can im intent on making a bit of a profit through playing, or at least break even in the long run.

Please do yourself a really big favor. Don't deposit until after you have gained some knowladge of the games layout and how the economy runs. That way you won't feel ripped off if the game isn't to your liking.

Alot of Newcomers will deposit wads only to get disgruntled with the game and then feel like they've been shafted. If you want to or feel the need to deposit, start with a small amount.

Also as another friendly piece of advice,The point of entry when you first start out ingame used to be Port Atlantis and there were lots of newbs around that you could at least learn the game from or at least join up with to go exploring.

But, because of the massive influx of new players due to the news about the Asteroid sale,Newcomers are being spawned at random towns and cities across the planet. Some of these locations are in fairly remote and sometimes hostile areas.

Feel free to ask anyone nearby for help (those not in Orange suits....:D) about the game. You will find that most of the players are very cordial and will help out as much as they can.

PE is a highly social game and most players have found that being rude or discourteous can get you in alot of trouble down the road. The community is very tight and looks out for it's own by being its own Gamemods in a fashion, so it stands to reason that civil behavior is the norm.
