The primary OS see's drive letters relevant to itself.

To change them, you need to go into Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Storage and change the properties of the partitions.

not too bad of an interpretation of the english language....

anyways, I've been running WinXP (till It would no longer boot into windows), now Ubuntu Linux. and I'm just wondering what things would make you poy up the money for a genuine vista key?

How much did you spend on it, because according to the pic you posted here, you're running an evaluation copy?

Or maybe you've upgraded since then?

In the pic you posted in the other thread, it says 'Evaluation Copy' under the analogue clock in the bottom right hand corner.

An evaluation copy is generally exactly that - for you to evaluate the software before buying it; it isn't a full copy.

If you've entered a code since then and the 'Evaluation Copy' bit has gone, that's fine. If not, you may have been ripped off.

That doesn't happen with my copy of Business, waiting for the key at the moment but it doesn't have evaluation copy written anywhere on it...
