I have been looking at Vista and there seems to be a lot of arguments floating around about DRM. Does this have anything to do with the legality of the music on your PC and then it will stop you from accessing it if it is not 100% legitimate. Am I just misinterpreting everything, as I am slightly worried as I have come across some of my music in a less than honourable fashion.

Quite simply: Vista will not stop you playing music. Protected or otherwise.

I've been wondering myself... does it have to do with importing, downloading/torrenting, burning, collecting album info in WMP or what?

It's more to do with the fact that Vista supports Blu-Ray and HD-DVD DRM.

It's only content with the advanced DRM on it which will play through lower definition is a high definition un-protected source is not available.
