    How do i check if SP1 has been installed on my computer?

    press windows+r and type "winver" without quotes.

    Not sure if it says "SP1" or "servicepack 1", but if you have verson 6.00 you don't have SP1. If you have SP1 it will be V.6.001 IIRC.
