    ive sent away for info on a home course to learn VB6 or webdesign using Dreamweaver or Frontpage what shouldi go for i think it would be good to know VB6

    I think a course would be more beneficial for VB6. There's quite a lot to learn whereas Dreamweaver is pretty much as easy to use as Word. Unless you're going to learn HTML I don't really see how it could be useful. If you ever get stuck in Dreamweaver you can just look in the help. Also I think VB6 would be more useful in general I think it's great to be able to think of a useful tool that could help you or other people and then just make it.

    To be honest I don't think you need a course to use either of them since they aren't that hard. The difference with the course will be that you'll learn a lot quicker.

    Although no one will download the framework to get .NET programs to work (I asked).

    .NET framework can be distributed with the executable. Although; its not small, size wise (20-some megabytes if I remember correctly)

    Yeah that's the framework. About 20mb.

    with this course you get a recognized qualification so that would be a benefit
