An art gallery in Glasgow which hoped to keep Goths away from its front door by playing classical music has ended up attracting more of them.

Glasgow's Gallery of Modern Art took action believing Goths congregating outside were scaring off art-lovers.

But the idea has backfired as the youngsters, fans of acts like Marilyn Manson and Slipknot, discovered an unexpected taste for Vivaldi.

Even more of them turned up at their meeting place outside the gallery as the classical tunes blasted from its windows, says the Daily Record.

I'm glad they are discovering a liking for something with a tune. But there are far better way to deal with the smelly little creatures...

I"m glad the museum is realizing they aren't bad kids.

But when they did believe they should get rid of them, they should've used country music, or worse... <gasp>bluegrass!</gasp>
