Hey guys In march i decided i couldnt carry on paying £35 for my contract phone so i rang them up and asked if i could change the price plan. they said i could change down 1 tarrif each month without incuring any charges or changes in contract length. I thought this was great as i could lower my bill each month and then see out the remainder of the contract on the lowest tarrif. (contract ends in october) So on the second time ringing i asked if i could do the same, lower my contract to the next tarrif. This time however i was told that would not be posible as i was on the lowest tarrif for my contract. Unfortunatly the Customer service advisor wasnt english and couldnt realy speak english either so i just said fine and hung up. So i sent them an email quereing my situation and eplaining what i was after. I recieved an email back the same day saying i would have to wait the 9 month period from the start of the contract. wich was when i changed my contract to the next one down and was now on another 12 month contract.....wtf Just sent them an email asking for all my contract details stating when i started my contract. i was lead to believe changing price plan would not afect my contract length which should have ended in october.... sorry for long rant. anyone know anything that will help...
Phoning won't do anything, I believe you have to write or fax. A quick Google brings up these posts which seem to support each other: http://www.mobilebanter.co.uk/177252-post4.html http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=5382770&postcount=2 Alternatively, print out the above and take a wander down to your local Vodafone high street store and see what they have to say.
