I want a voice recognition software for my computer so that i can command it with voice. Also i want to be able to convert my voice into words in text editors instead of typing. And it would be better if it allows me to add various commands to its existing list of voice commands. So what is the best software that is available for this task? Im running win 7 64 bit
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AcYWIEBWwI Voice recognition software is very clever stuff, I used this one (Lower version and apparently version 11 has made drastic improvements) a while ago and it was very good, it adapts to your voice overtime and as such you have to kind of train it. After that it will recognise most of your commands straight away. There's some more demo's and a shop to purchase it from here: http://shop.nuance.co.uk/store/nuanceeu/en_GB/Content/pbPage.landing Enjoy
Windows 7 does also have its own (or at least easily available free from M$) Voice command and voice-to-text software. I remember using it before on my Windows 7 home PC. (can't remember exactly where I got it from and can't check 'cos at work....but there is one) Edit: See below VVVVVVVVVVVV
does windows 7 built in voice recognition not work for you? just type voice in the search box on the start button
