    Hi guys.

I am doing a new project soon and would really like a nice alu or black voltmeter gauge i've had a looksie around maplin and farnell and seen nothing of my liking. I am looking for something like this but maybe a bit cheaper.

Also it needs to be able to be taken apart so i can affix my own image.

I was just wondering if anyone knew where i could find a cheap 1 to monitor voltage cause i am gonna inline it to a fan and the higher voltage faster the fan :).

I've seen the tachometer for monotoring the cpu but at $49 it's a tad expensive :jawdrop: .

I am looking for something like this beuty on the venom case made by mnptech.

Thanks Guys. BTW i am in the uk not in the big land america :).

I would go to a junkyard and pull the volt guage from an old car.
My 1971 Datsun 240Z has a guage that would be perfect.

    No they don't.
It's far more common in older cars.
New cars tend to have "idiot lights", if any thing at all.

Those kind of guages rarely malfunction ( unless they are Lucas:blush:) and are usually in good shape as they are enclosed in the dashboard.
Here in the States you could pick one up for a dollar or two ( if they didn't just GIVE it to you)....

i know you said you wanted cheaper but if you save up you can get some amazing white gauges with leds or EL backgrounds and designs in them.
