Modding Volume Control in PC Drive Bay

    Arite there folks,

    i was wondering if it is possible to attach a volume control to your pc case in either your 5 1/4 or 3 1/2 drive bays, it would look something simular to what you have in your stereo to change the volume of the sound,

    Splice the coax cable to your speakers and put a rheostat on it? I suspect this would work, but its probably not the best way to do it :)

    Isnt there an article for this on the Bit Tech website?

    if you have a soundblaster live card other than the values, there's a way to have some sort of volume control using slide switches if i'm not mistaken.... look in the articles section of bit-tech for the article... probably towards the very bottom of the listings...
