It's not your fault. A lot of the interest died when the SU porn supply dried up.
Scooby did a great job keeping things alive during the slowdown with his pimping and updates.:D (Maybe we all should drop full renders in the thread next time -post deadline.*hint*)

The three vote thing worked in my opinion. There was no way I could have chosen just one rig to vote for.
Dark didn't get my vote because he never finished the walking thing.:p I knew he'd win without it.

    Voting ends in 12 hours!

    :D LOL

I'm sorry but I think that the voting system was awfully bad, no offence but using the social groups was really a bad idea. :(
the right to 3 vote is good but please, don't use the groups next time

So what do we do? -PM votes to someone? I don't think the staff want responsibility for another contest.

The restriction to one vote on a poll is a limitation of the forum software - nothing the mods or Tim S. can do about that. The social groups seems to have worked well enough. Most of us are adults here or close enough that we can figure out our own contest for the next round.

Well I finally got a chance to vote.:D Good luck everyone.:thumb:

I feel that this comp is still a success despite it's little mishap. I want to thank Cheapskate for his hard work in getting things back on track and Bill for starting this contest and denying us hours of sleep. Thanks you two.:thumb:

Maybe we can look into other methods of voting for the next competition if you decide to do one again.:eyebrow:

EDIT: Opps I think I'm too late. Just checked the time in Texas and it about 8:24pm Sunday. On my clock I read 11:24am Monday...I'm overseas.:sigh:

Congrate to Scooby, and all the winners. There were some seriously impressive designs here. I've got a few designs floating around in my head for the next comp that will hopefully give you guys a run for you money :baby:. A bit more bling is in order :hip:.

I'd just like to say thanks to MNPCTech for stumping up some great prizes yet again, also to jhanlon303 for adding the optical drive to the prizefund.

On the voting front, I also wasn't keen on this format. How about creating a thread for each design with a pole for voting. Each voter could still cast three votes, and it get's away from the clumsy social groups format? Or would it be impossible to keep track of how many votes people have cast? Or, or better yet, create three threads with poles for each design (vote 1, vote 2 and vote 3), then....... ah I dunno, still very clumsy. Probably just sticking to one vote is the way forward, either that or have a semi and final stage to the voting (but that might string it out too long with people loosing intrest).

Anyway, ignore me, just thinking out loud, so to say

-Which reminds me... What do we do with the social groups now? Delete them, or let them collect beer cans, dust, and confused new members?
-There's a possibility they might make a mess of the next contest.
