    anyone know much about these.

one of my local shops has a VTX3D R9 270X going for £145 which seems like a good deal, possibly a little too good.

are they a decent brand, or a bit too budget??

    anyone share any experiences?

I have a 7870le and had no problems, the card will run at 1150 on core, the memory runs at 1500 standard, i have not overclocked the memory. I could proberly get more overclock on core but i run at standard voltage. Also they run a bit loud when fan is over 60%.

I have a vtx 5870 that I have for at least 2 years I think, maybe more like 3 (from memory) works fine. It doesn't have adjustable voltage though, board simply doesn't support changing it, and it doesn't clock that well, those things aside and it's fine.
