thanks its been a few years since I've been in the pc world. Sadly tho i wont be getting any more parts till after christmas, Just had my one screen die on my amazingly 2 weeks after the warrenty is up so having to pick one up tomorrow. But gives me a chance to figure out how im going to route water lines and figure out fittings and fans before i order them.
So a little progress update. The rads came in so i gave them some paint and put them on the case so they won't get ruined sitting around, also redid the PSU cover and tested out a new placement for the screen.
Well painted the psu cover, cut and painted the cover to cover the holes and attached the screen in it's hopefully final place
thinking so due to where ill be sitting and where the case will be positioned itll be visable. The screen will be used to monitor temps and loads
Ya i figured since the case doesn't have any bays and Imma have a 360 rad in the front i could put anything behind the front glass so i decided on a screen
Sorry for the lack of updates. Been sick and out of work for the past week so gotta make up a paycheck, but i should be ordering parts in the next 2 weeks.
Finally got my fans in and installed I have my EVGA PSU coming in friday along with my pin remover and the sleeving coming in saturday from Ensourced!
So before i sleeved i ran a test fit with the PSU to make sure the cables reached and all the fans work Fans are a glowing! These fans seemed to move a lot of air and didn't make as much noise as i had thought. But EVGA one question....why do u have caps wired into the 24pin 4 inches before it ends.... o and why is your cpu cable so short! Well guess it's back to ensourced in the next few weeks to order some wires, pins, and connectors for custom extensions! Kinda bumped because i went and got a fully modular psu to make it easier to sleeve and i dont quite understand what EVGA was doing when they made these cables, some have 4 wires going to one pin, some have wires and caps, others have wires extended off of other wires going to other connectors. But as long as it works I'm fine with it, because it still does it's main function
Well my sister came in with a late Christmas gift and it was a visa gift card so I ordered the rad/pump and it should be here Thursday! Hoping it fits with how everything is mounted and it’ll also allow me to get a final view of how I’m gonna route the tubes.
