    Hi everyone,

just wanted to make sure you noticed that another hole is found in the 2.2, 2.4 and 2.6-series of the linux kernels. This affects all kernels up to, and including, 2.4.23 and 2.6.0. The 2.4.24 (and 2.6.1) has been released and it corrects this vulnerability. I strongly suggest changing kernel, especially if you allow shell-access to your machine (the vulnerability uses mremap() to give a local user root permissions).

Anyways, off to Linux Kernel Archives and get yourself the latest stable!
