Am i the only 1 here then that thinks from the back it looks like a fat mans sat on and squashed it. I like it from the front and side but think it looks daft from behind, Ill take the brera thanks
Looks better in the flesh. Also, the new Golf is FUGLY. Please, if you're going small VW, get a Polo or a Scirocco, or something from another company. And +1 at Alfa Brera. I'd say one of, if not the best looking small car.

Okay I take it back, TrustedReviews have put up a few car reviews today. But my reaction would have been the same if you hadn't told me since its the first time they've looked at a whole car. Seeing as cars these days are turning into gadgets on wheels, I guess the progression was imminent.
We're reviewing the in-car tech, though, not the cars themselves. As I said in the announcement news post: we review dedicated stuff and in-car tech is generally an even pricier option so it only makes sense. If anyone wants to go say nice things in the comments section we'd all be grateful Oh yes, Scirocco is up next week IIRC for anyone interested in seeing what we've got to say.
seen 2 sciroccos on this side of the planet. One is lime green. The other one (white) i took for a test drive. I had a Golf V GTI for 6 months. didn't like it. Not exciting at all. The Scirocco is a bit better. A bit sharper, grippier, and more fun. Unfortunately, there is that interior that's just... VW, i suppose... uninspiring. The ride is still a bit too hard on our roads for my liking, and it's still nto as much fun as some cars with smaller engines i have driven. The Fiat Bravo sport 1.4 T-Jet, for example. Make no mistake, the scirocco is prolly the better buy. but the Fiat is more fun to drive... just that bit less protected, and it will kick you if you push it hard in a corner...
You know as good as it looks from the front, it looks cack from the side from what I see. I look at the front and think it's going to be amazing from the side only to see this squashed bug appearance. Sorry, but I don't think there's allot of good looking midragne cars about anymore. The only people that can really make a car look nice at the moment are honda. But thats my opinion and many might not a agree, but I would sooner buy an older can than a newer one just so I can get something I like the look of. Golfs not a bad looking car tho. Better than the mk4 anyway. What were VW thinking!? Even the mk3 looked more shapely and it was a box!
