Finally replaced my 128 mb 3 sticks of generic pc100 crap (don't ask me why I had 3 sticks of generic pc100 crap amounting to 128 megs in a gig machine, long story :p) with a nice shiny new 256mb stick of Crucial stuff - 20 inc postage! Bargain! But don't you think crucial dimms are really chunky compared to other memory? Huouge!

Never really noticed, Myself. However, it sure is excellent memory and the price is really good too (No P+P and that). I wouldn't use or trust any other memory now these days.

I second that Memory Cooling Kit motion, for peace of mind if nothing else. Thermaltake do a reasonable kit at a reasonable price.

I rate crucial, I have mine on turbo, cas2 and it will still let me increase the fbs and hold stable.

I don't know if the Tt cooling helps, but it looks great (I can be as shallow as the best of them!):p :p :p

And the new active cooling looks even cooler (No Pun Intended). Not sure about the colour clash though.
