just you wait till I finished my casemod project (it's stealthed, cooled till -55° and room for 6 red bulls... what could it be what could it be? ) but that's cool, I want one too! Gimme!
that had a nice price on scan/m today only the other day... 50~60 or something i recall... if it fitted in my 2l bottles i would consider it
I bet that cost her a fair few! Those things are like £99 on Firebox!.. I sooo want one of them.. I also need one! (eeew!, melted chocolate and warm cola!)
I was about to order two of them, one for me and one for my sister for our uni rooms but we decided to wait and see what else was on the market... Out of interest how noisey is it and whats it like
It has a very 'soothing' humm, kinda like a very low powered PSU. And its all round the dogs bo11ocks! It gets really cold inside (i'd call it more of a mini-fridge than a cooler) and i still haven't got it down to its lowest (haven't had it on for that long), manual states that it cools to 20c below ambient. Also i have it right next to my bed along with my computer (which has NO extra fans yet, just 3 hard disks) and my computer completely drowns out all noise made by it. But i have to be honest here, this is a very much a novelty product and for a dorm room i'd have to recommend a small mini-bar type fridge. Much more value for money. Good luck with that, looking forward to it. Sure it wasn't the Baby model? In picture they look identical but only have half the capacity.
One last thing... I've just noticed this thing has major moddin potential as the inside is just enough space to fit a nice computer (would the mosture mess it up though?). PS: Yeah but it fits Krony 1664 perfectly
Condensation is caused by air coming into contact with a surface cooler than it. Which is why you get moisture on the inside of windows on cool days. Therefore, seal it and keep it sealed, and you should be alright. Just dont open the door till you turn it off and the temps inside and out have equalised!
