    i need some help.

a number of years ago i remember i read about something that made your monitor touch (with a special pen) enabled.

the thing consisted of (2 i think) sensors that were positioned at the edges of the screens (top edges).

i would love to have a touch enabled monitor but on the cheap (under £80) as i wanted to do some graphic work. i was looking at a wacom bamboo fun (pen and touch) but had heard mixed reviews.

does anyone have any other suggestions about that the thing mentioned or any other ideas or comments about getting your computer touch enabled on the cheap.

any suggestions or comments would be most appreciated

I just so happen to have this :)
Its good, depending on your monitor size, back on my 1024x768 it was perfect, but on my 1920x1080, its wayy too quick moving, jittery so i use the mouse a lot more.

I don't know how this work exactly, but using a stylus on a normal display sounds like a good way to destroy a LCD panel. (Proper touchscreens have an extra layer of glass as protection)

That's probably not pressure sensitive, so it won't be very good for graphics work.

    Hello,
I have a Genius f509, and really enjoy using it (I do graphics work too).

But this is an area where bigger isnt always better. Personaly I would recomend having a go on a few first (if you can). As I feel as my f509 is to big and involves alot of work to move the pointer from one side to another.

I would recomend this, as it is a good price and size, and was also recomended for the photo editing pc in last months CPC.

    Just my 2p.

    Matty
