Modding wall-mart cathodes...

    here's my prob... my pa's goin to canada tomorrow, and i need some cathodes... so insted of ordering them wiyth the inverter from some modding place for 30 euros a piece, i'll get my pa to pick some up from wall mart for 5 buck a piece.. only trouble is... he doesn't know what a cathode is, and i've gotta give him directions on where to find them...and coz i live in finland, and haven't been to wallmart for over three years now, i haven't got the foggiest idea... all i know, is that they can be found near the cars section or something and ieven that ain't for sure... so can somebody help me out please, and quick!!!
    i'm going home from school in two hours and i need an answer by then, or otherwise i've gotta wire up the net at home or something

    lol i haven't seen any cathodes at wall mart. Especially near the car section... im there nearly every week. lol either moddin my car or comp.

    Allthough i havent been looking that hard. I might try the lighting section?

    I have seen them in the auto section, in the general area of fuzzy dice, glowing 20" speakers, fur encrusted steering wheel covers, etc. They didn't specify cold cathode, I believe they were neons. good luck

    ya, they are neons.......i checked into them myself, but for some reason, my wallmart only carry's the purple one's........

    They're neons, they're about ten bucks, and like eddie said, they are with the classy auto accessories. The wal-mart site soesn't list them by the way.

    I'll look at mine and post a SKU number if possible later tonight.

    I went to one of those San Francisco stores, they sell odd and ends, kinda funny stuff, but nothing great... but they were selling neos for like $15CND... I'm thinking of getting some... might work for you too... If San Francisco doens't have the,,there is a number of other similar stores.

    i don't live in canada, and i haven't been to San Francisco for at least 3 years, and i'm not sure which malls it's in anymore , and i'd rather just tell my pa to go to wall-mart, coz he knows where it is, but he probably hasn't got the foggiest idea where to find San Francisco though.
    if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes here, sorry, but i don't have time to correct them...
    so they can be found in wall mart, where all the fancy car part are, under the name "neons", i told my dad to look for cold cathodes, so unless i phone him, he'll probably never find them...
