Hey Guys, Got a second U2711 today and im looking for a way, to make a wallpaper stretch across both of the monitors , do I need 3rd party software or can windows do the trick? Also how do I make the start bar stretch across both monitors? Thanks in advance, Luke.
Its one of the options where you select the wallpaper within windows (picture position). Not sure on the stretching the start bar, I've taken to having a bar across the bottom of the wallpaper and setting my win7 start bar to transparent.
It isn't a default option, download Ultramon and use the 30 day trial Your wallpaper will stay as it is once the trial is over or you reinstall it from the .exe again and again.
You want one wallpaper that flows across both displays? You need to find some that are 5120x1440 or whatever. Usually easy to find panorama landscape shots like that, other things you will need to hunt.
I used UltraMon for a bit then another program. Now I use Zbar. Allows multiple wallpapers, task bar on multiple monitors, etc. Oh...and it's free.
DisplayFusion and DualMon both free and display fusion has a website that provides dual monitor wallpapers as well in a variety of categories.
