Anyone got that wanadoo broadband offer for 17.99 which gets you a free modem? Does the modem have an eternet socket in the back or just USB? Just I orderd it earlier on and was wondering if I can use it with my wireless router.

    Cheers

Oh dear. Ive just bought a wireless router thinking I would be able to connect it to the modem. Would there be a problem connecting my router to a ADSL modem with ethernt socket? Is there any compatibility issues etc. Sorry for the noob questions Im new to this networking malarky.

    Cheers

Have fun trying to find a decent ethernet ADSL modem. The D-Link ones are shockingly poor. I have a Westell 6100 which seems to be pretty good though, it can do routing as well but I just have it in modem mode.
