I'm planning my next mod and I need a custom part so as to make the watercooling fit. It's a pretty simple part but I don't the necessary tools to do it myself. Would anyone be able to make this part for me? or know someone who would? I'd be prepared to pay a reasonable amount.

    Thanks in advance.

Delrin's great stuff; very lightweight, quite tough and self lubricating (!), but why make a splitting block thing from it?

It needs to be one piece because of where its going. I'm planning on cramming my dual Xeon setup into the smallest possible space but keep it water cooled. I've got two Swiftech Apogee 1U blocks for the CPUs and that block will sit in between them and avoid the need for messy Ys or Ts. None of the dimensions are critical except for the distance between the holes which has to be 21.8mm to line up with the apogees. The width needs to be pretty close to 28mm so it fits in between them.

The material isn't actually important TBH just that the Delrin on my EK GPU blocks looks really nice.

21.8mm is pretty tight, could i get away with 22mm or would it mess things up?

Hmm,that should be OK, I'm going to be using these to allow me to fit the whole thing together and onto the board. They use an O-ring so there should be some flexibility there.

I've just hadd a look on ebay and delrin doesn't seem to be hard to come by in 20mm sheets, theres a 100x150x20 block for about £7.

I shall be home on monday, currently on hoilday atm. I shall have a look around at what i have.

It cost £22 for the tap to form those threads.

Luckily i can grab a 15/32 drill pretty cheap, the tap requires a 11.8mm drill, which works out to be 11.9mm.

total cost would £25 or so, if your willing to supply the delrin from the bay, and £12 i would do the rest free of charge.

Possibly bash out a few other bits and bobs free for ya, from what would be left of the delrin.

Btw, you should also mention if you want it in white or black delrin. Also you're missing dimensions on the length and chamfer size.

I know the dimensions aren't complete but the only important ones are on there, the colour doesn't really matter either. I wanted to see if anyone could/would make it for me, I'll send the complete drawings to whoever's making it.

now i know why the 21.8mm is so important,

Are the swiftech blocks in use? Because it might be worth having one to make sure its spot on.
