I'm looking for some stainless steel sheeting that has those short diagonal lines, like they use on outdoor fire escapes? Err... *starts ut2003* like this:

try the materials section at www.mcmaster.com look for metals>sheets>decorative and then the material and specs you want. a 12"x12" sheet of thin aluminum is like US$12.

I found it on that mcmaster-carr site under aluminium (thanks ehrnam45), it appears to be called "tread" not "diamond" by them though. I've found it called diamond on google -- so thanks for that woodshop

pop into B&Q they have some there, althought the pattern is quite small.

You can also get a non-metal version which looks like metal but is really flexible and good from KustomPCs: Clicky

    Hope this helps! :thumb:

Great! Thanks Cabe; I'm going to B&Q today, so I'll try and find some then.

Blue Infinity: thanks -- thats exactly what I was going to do with it anyway!!! I'll get that depending on how much I like the stuff at B&Q.

Thanks :D -- yer, the outside is metallic black gloss / polished silver vents / blue mesh, and I'm gonna use this stuff for the inner side of the panels and the PSU.
