Is it me or is this game incredibly hard on single player custom game ?? Ive been playing it quite a bit this week cause this is when i got it, and all that happens is i build up a small ish army with a crappy level 3 or so hero, then some lad with a bunch of draGONS will burn along and just walk right over me! how the hell are you meant to get the most out of it ?
play with m8s etc and just practise the computer is amazingly hard to beat when u play it like that, ive tried and failed a few times!
I know at the start of a match you have to get a smalkll army waltsing around with your hero trying to get him up to level 8 or something! but then even when he is level 8 he dies quite soon in a war, and which im using him to kill things my base is getting left
my recommendation is to play throught the game first, that gives you all the basic skills etc, then look up some strats on the net, ull find some good ones
Make sure to watch your hero in fights, it's very important that he lives...without him you will easily lose. =) I'm not so good myself, i just know what to do... I have a buddy who is quite good, so i learn much of wathcing him. It's also important to watch replays of good players, and just steal some of their tactics.
