Hi everyone, first time here. Cut to the chase: I have a problem.. I ordered my first Dragon Series server case fromGameVE.com and I thought it was a really good deal too. Only 40$, plus I have my own power supply already. After 4 days [fast] it comes home, but to my surprise the side panel had a window already in it, the default ones. On the website, the picture has a normal side panel, because I really wanted to mod it myself. What I'm asking is does anyone know where I can order a Chieftec default side panel [black]? Default = No window Thnx in advance to anyone who can help
Welcome to the boards. I don't have a specific answer to your question, sorry. Have you tried asking the place you bought it?
if it's just for the door, it might be a problem for most places to take care of. try calling antec/chieftec and see if you can get a replacement through them. although it'll cost you some cash finally, to avoid paying any cash (other than shipping) return it to the retailer and ask them to replace it with the one you originally wanted. it usually helps speaking to a human, not just emailing them to get this settled properly. good luck
Thnx for the suggestions Since my friend is buying a new case, I'm guilt tripping him into buying a dragon series case too but with a default side panel and I'm gonna trade with him. He's not a modder but he likes the window, go figure Oh well, win win situation hehe
I didn't get my case form that place but when i bought my Silver AX01 mine came with the side panel and the window? ur should of... coz when i paid for mine basically i paid for the Case aand the window coz the window is an accesory
You shouldn't have been sent the side panel with a window...as long as you didnt order it. So you have a right to a replacement IMO.
Can you just cur out a new window over it? Or does your planned window fall short of the one there already?

yeah the directron ones are the default ones... even use the same keyset.... I managed to get one from there recently so i could get rid of my original window and make another one

Wow thnx guys, big help. Did they just recently added that selection to their catalog? Well no matter, once again, big help I can always mod the top of my case while i wait for the side panel to come
Darknatured - Wow, you must realy be a chicken-livered little boy? You ordered something you specifically asked for saw and received something else, but yet you want to go and buy an additional acessory to come back to what you ordered? Are you that afraid to phone the company and demand to receive what you paid for. Do you just have money floating around to waste? I fuxored my mobo MYSELF through trying out a voltage mod a few months back but I asked the retailer to replace it AND THEY DID! (free, with a newer version because they didn't have stock off the older one).
