Hey! when i was taking out my card to clean and stuff i heard something drop off into the case with a click. i put the card down and just kept cleaning. after putting it back together and starting it up it wouldn't boot. i looked through the case again and found a small beige cube thing with some solder on it. I searched high and low all over the x1900xt and finally found its original place. God dang faulty soldering~!~!~!~!~!~!:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:
Now i have know clue wat to do with it! is there anyway i can repair it or anything!? please help me i am sad!

W00000T!! after reading your post i though i might see when i purchased it and how long the warranty is/was. And surprise surprise it is a 2 year warranty. But wait, how long have i had it??? Luckily i had kept the receipt! and the date said 11/26/2006... 8/2/2008! Sweeeeeeet...
Well hopefully i will get it RMA'ed and get something else. how will they do that? will they give me a new x1900xt? or will they give me a new card?

    Thanks,

OOps! at the top of their warranty page it says "Sapphire VGA products carry a 2 year warranty with all enquires carried out through your initial place of purchase. This can only be carried out by the original purchaser Please contact your Dealer/Reseller for Warranty / RMA service. They will require proof of purchase which includes the original invoice/documentation."

    http://www.sapphiretech.com/us/support/warranty.php

So i will have to go to where i bought it from.... ibuypower.com
and their warranty on their systems is..... 3 year warranty.. wooo safe. for now....:worried:

Well if ibuypower wont RMA it ill call shappire and see if they are nice enough!:naughty:

    lol Ace...out:hehe:

way to read the warranty. i probably would have just chucked it in a box somewhere and taken the excuse to buy a 4870.

I dont think they make a 1900xt anymore so chances are you will get something newer. of course they might still have some in stock.
or they might just fix yours and sent it back.

Quick update before i go to bed! Umm i emailed the supplier (ibuypower) of where i bought the computer and they said i was under the 3 year labor but not the 1 year parts which i think is kinda bull because it didnt die on me it was just faulty soldering. I then emailed the company that makes/made the graphics card and that was Sapphire. They sent me a download to an RMA sheet and they said "Replacement will be included new, reworked or refurbished." when i send it in. So if ibuypower doesn't change its mind i am going to send it to sapphire.

    The story will continue

Peace, AND watch the olympics!!!!!!:clap::clap: I've been to china!!:D:D
