Possible? Everything is possible if you set your mind to it... Usefull is a whole different question.

And even if you pulled it off, it would severly enlarge the laptop, and make it heavier, so the whole portable idea get's quite a dent.

But if you pull it off, respect ;) :dremel:

    hmm
there are those, pump-block-res in one + radiator kits... might be possible... but seems quite pointless, but still that would own to have, i already have ideas of res in the back of lcd, etc... mm... rockage.

I once read about an actual water cooled laptop that was being shown off at an asian consumer electronics show. Wish I could remember more, but the resevoir was incorporated into lid behind the screen! I think it was a korean brand but im not sure

It might have been a dream or hoax, though!

    EDIT:.......................................................................
maybe not, good old google gave me this...

It has indeed been done --at a prototype level. The unit consisted of a tiny pump, block and radiator in a flatbed frame layered over or under the PCB; there was no reservoir. This was before heatpipes became popular and I think it was abandoned when it became obvious that more conventional air cooling with heatpipe technology was just as effective.

Think what it would do for battery life...

umm kill it? instead of powering two fans it would probobly power one and then a pump. I dont see it as being battery effective
