I have a water cooled system running in a Raven Silverstone case, Slight problem is that the tubes running from the pump to the rad are quite some length and the circuit in total is quite long. Do you know anyone thats used dual pumps to increase water pressure I'm all ready using a 750lph pump

    Any advice would be great

Adding another pump usually increases pressure however the kind of pressure loss I think you're concerned with isn't worth worrying about, at least not in a standard loop in a normal PC case. If it's the XSPC 750lph pump you're using, it has a delivery head of 1.8m - not the best in the world but enough to cope with most water cooling setups. Using a more powerful pump such as the Laing D5 or DDC 1T Ultra might shave a few degrees off your temepratures but it depends what blocks/rads you have in the loop too.

Another minor note against adding a second pump is that I believe they do actually dump some heat into the loop - so you could find yourself worse off anyway (and have less cash in your wallet...)

I've always been a firm believer of buying a bigger pump than I really need, and then always running it pump to radiator to blocks.. Sure this lowers pressure, but it also eliminates and heat dump associated with a bigger pump.

It would be helpful if you could post a picture or the specifications of your loop :thumb:

Thanks for the advice yes it is the XSPC Pump I would easily say its 2m maybe 2.5m Loop. with the XSPC triple rad and I just think that it looks like it struggles to push all that water round. I did think about it before I bought it and went for a high LPH but didnt think about the head.

Do you know anyone that has done it though?

I know from talking to other people on pumps for different uses they do say that aslong as you keep the exact pump flow and diameter tubing it will work. They also said if it is a long circuit I would notice some temp difference but yea is it worth it.

    BTW im running I7 @ 3.82

Pressure remains constant across a closed system.

...when the pump is not running. A pump produces a slight pressured differential. The height difference of parts of the loop also produces differing pressures.

This is my rig. I just thought it would keep it cooler, the temp gauge above the ram is the water temp returning from the rad although add a bit from the 180mm fan underneath ive shielded a bit but it will cool the casing of the inline temp probe.
