I'm in the very early planning stages of a mod to build a watercooling unit that would sit below my main case and house the rad, pump etc. As it will be an external unit i would like to be able to disconnect the unit from the main system when i need to move it etc, and so want to know if anyone has come across any leak free quick connectors that would be up for the job?

however they really kill flow rates, which is why koolance external cooling units perform so badly, well that and a few other things.

best way would be to use 4 ball valves, and have a two inline next to each other so you shut off the water both sides of the valves with a small amount of fluid trapped between them. disconnect the hose and drain the few 5ml or so of water and away you go!
