    Greetings all,

I've been following the Mod Project Logs for sometime now and after seeing alot of kick ass work on here, I've decided to get moving along with my first. There's no doubt in my mind about the case I'll want to use - the V2000B for it's ample amount of room, but also because it's purely a slick case I think.

I figure I might as well get into watercooling if I'm going to start modding now. Currently, I've never even touched that form of cooling solution before - I've always just stuck with fans. Well, considering the ThermalTake HSF I have on my 3500+ Winnie sounds like a jet turbine, it's time to quiet it down a bit.

Since it is my first time with watercooling, does anyone have any suggestions on what I should use to get started with? I've considered a pre-assembled WC kit (Like ThermalTake's Big Water kit) just so I can get the hang of things, then again I've always heard that building it piece by piece would possibly get you more performance. If this is true, what brands should I use for which pieces, etc?

Any input and/or thoughts would be greatly apprechiated! :D

    Dangerden do great blocks
Eheim do quality pumps, (better than Hydor IMO but they are a bit bigger than the Hydors)
Black ice and thermochill do quality rads
tubing is more or less the same, stuff like Tygon is more flexible and loess prone to kinking but more expensive than the cheap stuff

If you post this thread in Extreme Cooling, you are more likely to get the replies you need! ;)

Aquacomputer do some good stuff apparently, and you can buy them in kits. PM a mod to get this moved.
