Funnily enough, I've just started doing something. I've been having exams and other stuff for a while, and my PC with all of the photos on is being fixed as we speak.

I'll hopefully have an update of what I've done soon. Oh, and I've done bits of the Res, and the DVD drive mountings, aswell as other bits n' bobs.

Well, res has been glued together. No idea's as to water-tightness as of yet though.

I've also made the DVD drive mounts and cuts on the back panel. No update until Tuesday tho.

    One finished resevior.

Took far too long, and the glue I used had a lovely lable saying 'limited evidence of carcnogenic effects' which is really reasuring....

Built using 8mm acrylic that was laser cut. The inside is 20mm across, and the entire thing holds < 1.5L .

Here it it full up with Acid Green Feser One and using Feser Hose.

(during the filling of the res using one of the G1/4" holes as the top, and doing it with the top screwed off and not using a funnel, I managed to spill some over my phone and keyboard. Both still work perfectally. :thumb:

    Res delivery complete...
Thank you! I've only been waiting for that since... you started the worklog.:D
Bunk deliveries and injuries have slowed your work to a painful crawl! It looks good- like a tank! Not an aquarium tank, -a tank with treads and a gun!

[Homer Voice:] MMM, carcinogens... Have you ever bought vitamins that said, 'virtually lead-free' on the package?

Did you use silicone on that? I think you need to use the solvent glue instead. (Well... the silicone should hold as long as the loop isn't pressurized.)

NO silicone yet. Just lashing of lovely cancer giving glue.

The masking tape was only there because the top panel was glued on ~1h before I took these photos, and I wasn't sure if it was fully secure.

Very cool! Was going to try that! Except thinner. The idea was to make a res like this except as thin as possible and use it as a panel for a case. I haven't read through your log(pic surfing) is this what your doing? Great job dude.

Hot! You going to make a trim or something to cover up the outer parameter of the res?!

I'm not happy with the finish at the mo. I'm thinking of making another using a different glue/cement to try and get a better finish.
