I measured the inner diameter to be closer to 8mm, iirc. but as I say, if we can minimise the amount of the thinnest tubing, it should help.

I ordered the brackets after my last post, so they should be here in the next day or so, then I'll have a clearer idea of your problem. :)
If you're suggesting what I think you're suggesting, I'd say you may be inviting trouble. :worried:

I was thinking more along the lines of Legris part number 3636 08 10 (or 3636 08 13) paired with a G1/8 (or G1/4, respectively) 10mm hose fitting if you can fit a bulkhead type fitting in between but I really need to see the bracket itself first.
There are other options if you can't fit this in though. :)

Do you have any pics of how it is installed?

I went to see my local radiator specialist today too, to see if I could check out a rad similar to the Zern first hand but he's on holiday till Friday. :sigh:

Did you try the order I suggested?
    Res -> pump -> Cpu -> rad1 -> Gpu -> Rad2 -> Res

You may find it better with the rads swapped otherwise but hopefully the first way I suggested will allow you to do it without changing any fittings to start with.

Did you manage to cure the air problem yet?
If you think you may be getting bubbles drawn through the res, you could always try putting the blue filter from the eheim in the way of the outlet to see if that helps.

[DE]FreD_S - congrats on reading it, anyone would think that most of the other people here are just looking at the pictures... ;) :hehe:

BTW, what did I win?

Ok, I think I found a solution! This should fit for the airplex and has a diameter of 10mm. Gonna try to get some as soon as possible:thumb:

 I thought you said it would only take the push fittings.

/me waits another day for mine to get here.... :sigh:

Yes, indeed, that is what aquacomputer says on their site: "ACHTUNG: Nur verwendbar für airplex evo mit plug&cool (gewinkelt und gerade). Wir empfehlen die Verwendung gerader plug&cool Anschlüsse." However, the airplex evo has 1/4" fittings to screw on these adapters. The problem however, is the space between the apdapters and the top of the case. Yet, this adapter schould be small enough to fit.

Well, my brackets didn't turn up yet but keep us posted how you get on anyhow.

BTW 8-BALL, sorry to get so medieval on yo ass, I was a bit cranky last week and I think I overreacted a bit to your initial comment.

    Sos bud.

Yeah, I've been a bit "stressed" lately. I'm half way through my finals and some of them haven't exactly been going as planned. (though I never have to do quantum ever again!)

I'm definitely interested in doing some testing on radiators in the coming year, but I'll keep you informed. It's kind of conditional on finding some flow testing equipment, either on ebay, or from a surplus centre. Will keep you updated.

I liked quantum mechanics (12 years ago mind)! It was the Solid State and Statistical Mechanics/Thermodynamics that I couldn't hack. What were your optional papers?

Hmm, no good to me unfortunately.

I'd rather shut up and learn things again.
Apologies to all who suffered my outburst, 8-Ball especially.

quantum, stat mech, electronic structure, and so on, were all part of a compulsory paper.

There was SOOO much emphasis put on being able to solve Schrodinger's equation, and a few other core bits, and surprisingly, none of that came up in the exam. Oh well, that's one exam out of eight. Knocked me down a class though.:wallbash:

PS, Pug, me gratefully accepts, and offers my own apology. No hard feelings, eh?
