Hey all I have a water cooled system. CPU GPU north south and physx card. its all cooled by a danger den system. can everyone share what temps they are getting on the following please. just so i know where I stand. and this is just at no load. CPU GPU North South extra stuff. Im flying: Nvidia 830 CM Evolution case Nvidia 850 CM PSU EVGA 680i mb BFG GTX8800 Water cooled from BFG via Danger Den QX6700 quad core WC w/Danger Den 775 block North and south bridge with the Danger Den 680i block (modified on the south bridge to fit the danged long 8800 card. BFG PhysX card with a Maze 5 block Black ice 240 extreme radiator D5 12v pump. and the other junk WD Raptor 150 sata WD 160 7200 sata Plextor dvd burner etc sata floppy ( some things never die) 2g pc8500 corsair dominator ram with cooling fan. Please tell me what you all are getting thanks Wolf CPU 41 GPU 49 system (northbridge) 32
Despite the fact i have a different setup with different gear, i shall tell you my temps for what i have cooled, currently: Core 2 Duo E6700 idle: 26C XFX 7800GTX idle: 33C Core 2 is under a storm 4 and the xfx is under a cool-matic block, and i do have 5*120mm (2*120 and 3*120mm) Sam
Dual Opteron 250: temps of 42C and 45C respectively (my Radeon 9800Pro does not report temps). All on a single BIX. And my NB? Passively aircooled by its original heatsink: 30C.
Both watercooled and in separate loops CPU under Storm, D5 Pump, TC 120.3 Rad c2d e6600 @ 3.4Ghz: 20c idle GPU under EK X1900 block, D5 Pump and PA160 rad X1900XTX @ 700/800: 41c
You called....it's highly tempting, sam, if you wanna keep hold of the block for the 7800 for a bit, just while I work out what i'm doing...
Sorry guys, but none of the posted temps mean anything without the inclusion of ambient temps. The deltaT is more informative than just a naked number. For example... This would lead one to assume that I have the most effective waterloop of the bunch if you just did a straight comparison, no?
