Ah, fair enough. :) I can see how that could be a problem!

I bet you just clicked on the link - and didn't include the additional 'nspirations .com/napa/' (without the space)

    Very nice site Will
Good choice of contrasting colours, and well laid out :thumb:

It's beautiful. But: The logo is messed up.. it's too jaggy in the top. The flash picture thing rolled in stuttering on my machine but from then one it ran smoothly.
Lastly I think it looks quite like you took the psd from the Banyan job and modeled this one on? Or maybe just coincidence. :)

    Good job and cool design!

Would you happen to want to help me out on a design perhaps? :D :p Maybe? ;) Nah I'd rather do it myself. Unless you want to? :D

Yea, they are pretty similar. But the actual restaurants are almost identical :p

I would say that they are different enough to be individual, but similar enough for people to make an instant connection. Which is pretty much ideal for a chain like Arc

    A little update on this:

    http://www.webbyawards.com/webbys/current.php?season=12#webby_entry_restaurant

    Looks like it won!

I know I don't work there any more, but it was my idea, so woo! :D

Its quite nice, though I do hate flash except for use as picture galleries (which I think is a fairly neat use for it outside of ajax).

(though that website that won the webby was rubbish imo :S)

Yea, the wagamama site does need a serious update, it was great a couple of years ago, but as they do, times have changed!

nice site! only critisism is that any other buttons (where they don't actually look like buttons, like the link on the blackboard to the left and the menu board on the bottom right could do with a mild roll over state to offer more affordance to the user as opposed to the cursor state change.

The rest of it though, very pleasing. I'm a big advocate of flash when used correctly, and your use is subtle and definitely adds something to the site. mucho's impressed.
