    Hi Chaps,

My build blog for Vikki the Gooster is currently hosted on MobileMe. With MobileMe being discontinued as of the middle of next year, I'm looking for alternative hosting. I don't need a lot of space - IIRC (off the top of my head), the current site doesn't even dent the standard 10GB I got with MobileMe, even with all the photos and vids.

What do you suggest? I'm probably going to give the site a revamp anyway, migrating away from iWeb to something built by RapidWeaver.

I'll also want to transfer my domain name.

    Ta,

    GOO

    One.com is very reasonable.

I think its like £10 for a year with pretty much everything you need and speeds are decent.

I use them and they can't really be faulted.

I quite like big wet fish here. Nice personal service, good speed, uk based, and cheap. They also do a referrals scheme, so if you reccomend a few people hosting works out free.

I have a resellers and a few normal hosting accounts with Birch Hosting, and have been with them for around 4-5 years now. They are great to work with, and have even helped me out with some free hosting for some charity sites I completed. They are UK based, and know their stuff. I can recommend these guys 100%.

TSO Hosts and Vidahost are two of the more favoured options by many users on Bit-Tech.

I use Vidahost myself, but am using one of the more expensive packages as I have 7 sites all on one account at the moment. Their basic package is £17 a year.
Cheapest option on TSO is £15 a year which gives you hosting for 2 domains, so that would work out at £7.50 per site each year.
