OK, so I'm quite new to HTML/CSS coding, so please bear with me. I'm in the process of building a basic site, but need your help with something.

What I want to do is have a page where a random image is chosen and displayed from a predefined set (of around 50 or so) when the page is loaded, and a new random image is displayed each time the page is refreshed. Most of the images are the same size, but some are in a different orientation/resolution.

What would be the quickest and easiest way to implement this? Would I need to utilise Javascript to achieve this (which would only confuse me more)?

    TIA for any help :thumb:

This will very likely do the job for you. If it doesn't just google "javascript random image" :)

There are so many code repositories out there for bits like this that you don't have to worry too much about learning the programming languages to do it yourself :)

Cool, I'll take a look at that and see how well it turns out.

    Thanks :thumb:

You'll either need to use javascript or a server-side scripting language (PHP, ASP, etc); each have somewhat of a learning curve and tons of examples.

You can also use flash scripts that do that and come with some nice visual effect on top
