They're on the product pages iirc (friend is helping with the social stuff as I don't exist on FB personally lol) from what I know it should be tumblr: http://blog.headbocks.com Facebook: http://facebook.com/headbocks twitter: http://twitter.com/headbocks Let me know if there's any issue..
@Chr!s; I've admittedly only just checked the link you provided.. I think the reason it doesn't like www.headbocks.com is due to the shop redirecting people to http://headbocks.com instead (to keep all links and everything in check (especially for the SSL)) If you check https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site:headbocks.com it works a LOT better.. But if you can think of any improvement then let me know.. (Would I be wise to change my dns for www. from an A record to a CNAME?)
Found the buttons. ABP & disconnect.me were running in my browser so blocked it all. Get the social media buttons on the front page as well
I did have a Facebook one on in the footer, but it constantly broke SSL... I'll see if there's some kind of proper plugins available for PS [edit] Found a module so I'll add that in tonight during some quiet time as I'll probably want to mess with it!
Looks good on an Ipad, just so you know. Lot of black tshirts tho, would be nice to seem some colours and some designs with pictures not writing? I don't know if you design them but some Meme inspired tshirts could sell well right now popular culture etc.
I'll be changing the cover photos today so there's less of a "sea of black" and put forward more design and less typographical ones. I do design them, if you have any ideas that you think would work send me a PM (or email from the shop) and we can talk! (There might have to be something in it for you if they sell)
It looks great. I'm going to agree with people and say add a little colour. Show some of the tshirts in different colors instead of black maybe?
If your conversion rate is anymore than 2% you're doing exceptionally well. To put it in to context sites I've worked on previously were happy to get a 1% conversion on 10,000 hits through Google ad-words.
Your hand printing them yourself. Have of video of a t-shirt being made rather than it just being mentioned on the last slide in tricky to read font. When your looking at a t-shirt the "other products in this category" is very small. The bit-tech style product pictures in the background sounds good. I also got the impression that I've basically got the opton of black or black.
I've got to say, there's been a distinct improvement on the site since I first came across it when you PM'd me bud! Will give it a proper browse when I've some spare time and give you more feedback but as it is, looking well mate! Congrats on the opening of the store and venture into SELF-EMPLOYMENT! All the best!
I like the site and love the idea, I do like my nerd shirts One thing I'm not quite clear on though - you have two manufacturers, Headbock and Thirteenthirtyseven - are the latter also hand printed by your good self?
Just had a quick look - designs available etc are pretty good and the site feels quite professionally done. First page load seems to take a while (could be a chrome thing or our internet is crap - it was the same on both tablet and desktop version) Navigation seems pretty nice and there's some nice little touches (like adding the item to as basket etc) Ordering was a pretty painless process - apart from the annoying feature you have to click "save" to create an account before you can add payment details. Not sure if you can change the behavior there (and it didn't stop me purchasing) but maybe either get people to create an account initially OR offer the option to create an account AFTER the purchase is completed. On the "paypal payment" screen (where you're given the option to confirm order and get redirected to paypal) the two buttons are shoved over to the left of the screen nicely hidden away. Could you offer (you may already do am i'm blind) other payment methods - maybe google wallet or something? The above are just minor niggles, didn't stop the purchase at all and the designs seemed pretty varied and were mostly original. (Do you have any plans for and Android inspired designs btw )
Thank everyone for looking and the comments! @Archtronics - The Arrow to the Knee shirt you suggested has been designed and is available now if you wanna take a look and see what you think to the design! @trigger - Yes they are both us but it is just something for the future as there are grand plans afoot for thirteenthirtyseven... All shirts are hand printed by my good self indeed. Any T Shirt manufacturers I will stock will be basically licensed from whoever sells me the artwork, and then I print in house.. @Highland3r - Thank you, It seems to load a bit sluggish everywhere, I'm going to have a look and see if there's something I can do to improve the caching and compression (ideally without breaking W3) - I'm glad you found the order process painless You shirt is going to be printed this evening and should be ready to go out tomorrow (You'll get order status updates to reflect what's happening) I'm intending to allow guest ordering after this initial sale, there was the idea that people would get 13.37% off for Life if they ordered now (as you have - So you'll always get that discount) so I'll just flip the switch and see how it does! I am aware of the payment button issue and I'm working to fix it without breaking things.. I know it's a PITA.. I'm on it though. I can make google wallet available on request but I'm having issues with google's callback api not knitting right with my backend so I'd shelved it so I could get the site up. Having choice is a big deal for me so I'll make it more apparent that on request I can make it available. (And ideally fix the blasted thing!) I do indeed have plans for some android inspired designs, if you have any you'd like to me do for you let me know, and I'm sure I could whip something up to your liking! On that note; for everyone!!! ------ We now have five more completely original designs which the same price as the others in the offer - if anyone would be kind enough to have a look and see if they're to people's liking I'd be greatly appreciative as obviously I can only be so objective about our designs lol! Thanks again everyone and especially to Highland3r for being the first official sale! (And for being local!!) Cheers again! J
