    really depends what you want.

Are you wanting unlimtied space and bandwidth/traffic or just a bit?

    I'm using tsohost.co.uk £14.99 a year gets you :
    • 5gig a month bandwidth
    • 500meg space
    • + more

you could try this also http://www.gbbo.co.uk

Why not go for free hosting? http://www.freevirtualservers.com/free-hosting.htm. Haven't tried them... but hey, it's free :D There's also a plethora of free US hosts if you don't mind where the servers are...

If you want a guarantee of uptime, you'll probably want to go for paid shared linux hosting. fasthosts.co.uk is one of the biggest providers, but i've heard support and uptime aren't so brilliant. 1&1 is also up there. Also, smaller companies like webhost.uk.net are good.

Have a look at some reviews before you buy.

    good luck :thumb:

Have a look at Heart Internet http://heartinternet.co.uk

I used to work for them and I know most of the people who work there. Prices are pretty good and they should be able to sort you out with hosting for a decent price.

If it's a simple site for yourself I can host it for you. I owe you a favour.

Another vote for tsohost from here, really good service, plus the Cpanel backend is amazing.

Does the hosting have to be in the UK? If not then check out Dreamhost. Have used them for 3+ years and they are pretty good. Unlimited bandwidth, storage and domains hosted for $8.95 p/m (about 5.70GBP).
If price isn't an option then I can recomend Namesco. I used to work their a few years back and their systems are pretty good. They have never been hacked (primary due to them not using Apache and sticking to Zeus webserver) prices have gotten better and the service is solid and they have won best shared webhost 3 years on a trot from ISPAs.

Another vote for tsohost here - very cheap, very fast, plus even their most basic package offers options that most other hosts charge for.

Plus, bit-tech.net is hosted there too ;)

It really depends what you're after.

    You can go:

    Free hosting
    Shared
    VPS
    Dedicated

Price usually in that order as well.
