Okay guys i have a weight issue.

Ive already lost 2 stone 5lbs but i had lost 3st but went on holiday and basically lost my way.

My biggest weakness is stress and then the accompanying cider and snacking.

I want to get back on track and lose at least a stone before xmas and another 3 day break we are going on.

I lose weight really easily when my head is in it, i lost 9lbs in 2 weeks prior to my last hols.

I also stopped drinking for 2 years before and kinda want to go back to that or at best once a week.

Just looking for encouragement and a place to shame myself into getting into gear.

    Keep on going!

I basically set myself a challenge earlier in the year. I signed up to run a half marathon for charity and Tough Mudder with some friends. Clean eating (though don't forbid yourself anything - you'll only want it more or feel like you've failed if you have it) and get some exercise.

As annoying as the bloke is, the 'lean in 15' books are pretty good for recipes and workouts (though I ignore those :) )

Just gotta find a way to deal with the stress that doesn't involve food / drink.

Games does it for me, I could play for days without even thinking about food.

Don't buy booze or snacks on the weekly shop or keep them in the house. Never go for your weekly shop while hungry. If you're snacking at work try and prepack meals for work so you don't have an excuse to pop into the pub for a pint and sides during your lunch hour.

As for stress, I used to destress with games or physical exercise - a heavy bag is a great way to destress and also burn a few calories.
