    Hello,

Please could some one help me out here? I have an LCD but the pin out is different to what I have seen on this LCD guide:
    http://www.overclockers.com.au/~mwp/cc/guides/setup-hd44780.htm

The pin out table from the guide
The one from the data sheet for my LCD

Please could some one be able to convert the first table so that it can be used for my LCD?

Some of them I think I can change my self like instead of pin 25 on the printer cable being connected to pin 1 on the LCD it connects to pin 2 on the LCD. But some of them are confusing me and I don’t want to blow my LCD up so I thought id ask you guys.

Oh the data sheet for the LCD can be found here

    Thanks in advance. :thumb:

I believe i wired mine's per this scheme, sorry too long ago can't remember. Minginbollock, which one did you use for yours 240x128?
After you wired it up head over to the LCDinfo, LCDstudio, LCDHype, LiquidMP3 forums. They all support the T6963C controller!

Looks good, don't forget to calculate the resistor value for your backlight, see page 10 of your specsheet and calculate it here..
Vee is from the negative voltage generator, MD for columns select.
*Might* be one hurdle, i don't see any negative voltage generator in the block scheme, so might be that you won't be able to adjust contrast without it :blah:
Anyway just wire it up and give it a go, you're on the right track.

Ok thanks. With that calculator what do I type in for "Diode forward voltage" and "Diode rated current" please? I take it I put 4.5 for supply voltage?

Grr it’s not working! Could it be to-do with the fact that I haven’t connected "VO" to anything because on the schematics VO hast to be connected to a 10k pot along with Vee but I haven’t got a Vee.

    Please help :wallbash:

Vee is you're negative voltage, without it, you risc damaging ur LCD, and nothing will show.
