When i boot up windows tells me that the user profile could not be loaded and it is possibly corrupted.

It was working fine the day before and i havent made any changes to my system at all since then, i can't understand it.

It there anything i can do to solve this problem?

    Thanks in Advance,

Can you get into your admin account, copy the user info, delete the user, create a new user, and load the old info into the new user?

It's probably become corrupt (go figure) :p That used to happen to me sometimes, was windows' way of saying "HEY STUPID! IT'S TIME FOR A FORMAT!" :(

have you installed the latest Service Packs (dumb question), but a lot of problems like that are caused by not having service packs... naturally I am probably wrong

My mate had the exact same problem. He created a new profile but the problem recurred, a format solved it.

If you have already deleted your previously used profile then no, unless you have some good data recovery software.

Otherwise you can find all your data in the following location :

    C:\Documents and Settings\your profile\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{89E085C0-84E0-4D4C-BCF8-64D4D4DD9C3C}\Microsoft\Outlook Express.

Copy all the contents of that folder into your newly created profile and it should work (I think).

I copied the whole folder in documents and settings for my user name into the new user name.
