Its not the spelling that make your posts hard to read at times, its the way that you format them, they just need to be broken down into chunks if it is a long post so people have a chance to stop and digest what has been said before having to go onto the next bit. If you type the full word rather than shortening it, people can read your posts a lot quicker due to not having to think about what has been said so much.

To be totally honest, I don't understand.

I spend all day at work on a PC typing up reports and such. When I get home I don't throw my grammar out the window just because I've been typing all day. I like my posts to be entirely legible, just shows pride in what you do. Also makes people think I'm smarter than I actually am :p

Also, if your post comes out like gobbledygook then you're more likely to spend more time trying to explain to people what you meant in the first place than you would have been making sure the original post was legible.

Just my views on it all.

corvette, you can find system spell checkers online, check www.download.com , but I know they exist, I used to use one, then gave up on being acurate for general stuff like this.

All depends on the mood, and the level of "cant be arsed mode" I am in.

I am tending to live in "cant be arsed" mode lately, my room is a complete tip atm, best tidy it up tomorrow.

classic :D i was totally taken in :p... what does that make me? :eyebrow:

anyway back to the topic... basically i prefer well formed posts because they are less work for me to deduce your meaning and for others to deduce your meaning. If people don't make themselves clear in a post it can lead to misunderstandings and to flaming... at which point i have to get off my fat **** and do something about it.
Whilst obviously some people cannot produce a well formed post the majority of you can but are too lazy. That doesn't mean you'll get banned from our forum but it does mean we'll think you are a lazy sod who doesn't deserve their posts to be read
