    What on earth do you mean?! I've seen games of American Football where the ball's been kicked at least 3 times!!! Maybe 4 or 5!!

    Let's see we have a game where the ball is kicked a couple times a day....and then we have one what is mostly played with your feet...I know we'll call the first one football and the second one handball.

    I believe he was referring to calling it by it's proper name 'football' or, it's full name, Association Football (isn't that it)

    Ok, well, I know a guy (he's in germany now, lucky *******) who says that originally, you britts called it soccer, then later changed it to football...

    Is this the case, or is he senile?

    The full name of the various games:

    Association Football
    Rugby Football
    Australian Rules Football
    American Football

    The word "soccer" comes from "Association."

    One thing I hate is when people pronounce it "fubol" like it's a different word or something. bah.
